Most lenses that you buy will have the lens hood included, but one word of advice is don't lose the lens hood that comes with the lens you buy. They are very expensive to replace if you can even find a replacement. The lens hood also has two other things that they do beside shedding light out it protects your lens from things that might hit your lens if you didn't have it. Do your research because not all lens hood are compatible with each other. before you purchase make sure they will work with your model or you could just be wasting your money. Lens hood is something you may want to consider if you take alot of pictures or are outside alot. The lens hood can help your pictures look alot better, but if your not sure about an lens hood for your camera consult your local camera store and they can tell you if it would help you.
