When you are interviewing potential wedding portrait photography companies you should have a list of questions written down to ask during the initial meeting. These questions should be anything that you need answered about your photographs.

Do not be ashamed by any questions that you have. It is best to have all of your questions answered before you sign a contract so you know exactly what you are getting for your money.

  5. Can I meet the actual photographer and a back up photographer before I sign the contract?
  6. Do you have references that I could call?
  7. How long have you been doing wedding portrait photography?
  8. What styles are you most comfortable with photographing?
  9. How long before I get the negatives of the photos?

It is a good idea for you to have a little notebook on you at all times to write down your questions for the photographer. As a matter of fact, as a bride to be, you will definitely want to have a pen and paper with you at all times. This way you can jot down any ideas that come to mind throughout the day as well as any questions you have for the various vendors.

It is important that you are comfortable with your photographer as well as with the wedding portrait photography company and its policies.
