Auto Focus Lenses

Auto focus lenses is something that has changed the way we look at camera's. before the auto focus lenses we had what people called point and shoot cameras. These cameras you would just line the subject up and take the picture. Now sometimes if you moved the camera the picture would be blurry. Now here is where auto focus lenses have really made a difference. What the auto focus lens does is bring the picture into focus so you can get the best picture possible. Pentax auto focus lens are some very good ones to use. I have used their auto focus lens and have got outstanding results with the. As technology has advanced so has the auto focus lenses. Every year they get better and better. More crisp pictures are possible with less and less blurry pictures you have to toss into the trash. Auto focus lenses is something that have made point and shoot cameras a thing of the past. Even though some companies still make point and shoot cameras the auto focus is the camera of choice by almost everyone.

Cameras with auto focus lenses will almost always take better pictures and actually make the photographer look like a pro alot of times. I can't count how many times the auto focus camera has saved my life by delivering quick crisp pictures everytime. Almost every company now makes auto focus cameras so you will have a wide variety of lenses to choose from. With the digital camera really becoming popular the auto focus camera isn't talked about as it use to be. prices for auto focus cameras have come down in recent years which gives consumers a chance to check them out more than ever before. With cameras becoming more compact than ever before look for auto focus cameras to become smaller and even more affordable. Auto focus lenses for the longest time have been getting better and better every year. I look for that trend to continue to as people look for the best deal they can get for their money. Auto focus lenses are something you should consider if your on a budget or want a fast camera that takes accurate pictures no matter how bad of a picture taker you maybe. Give auto focus a try and you may never go back to point and shoot.

Camera Lens F-Stop Values Explained

Lens aperture settings are commonly knows as f-stops. The letter "f" is an abbreviation of the term "focal-ratio", which describes the ratio of the lens's focal length to the diameter of the light entrance pupil (more commonly called the aperture). The standard sequence of f-stops is: f/1.4 f/2 f/2.8 f/4 f/5.6 f/8 f/11 f/16 f/22 On this scale, an f/1.4 setting is the largest aperture, while f/22 is the smallest, and each f-stop in the sequence is half the size of its neighbour to the left, and twice the size of its neighbour to the right. In other words, f/5.6 permits the passage of twice as much light as f/8, but only half the light of f/4. Low f-stop numbers represent larger apertures, and higher f-stop numbers indicate smaller apertures because the f-stop is a ratio is between the size of the aperture and the focal length of the lens; i.e. a bigger number represents a larger difference. Here's the maths for a 50mm lens. f-stop / Diameter (...
